Something that just happened to me
I was approached by a screenplay writer last October about my book and he suggested I have my book written into a screenplay. I recently finished the screenplay and it is currently being reviewed by several major studios.
I heard back from one this past week and they recommended I make a few changes to it and they want to review it again. The majority of changes are time related. I need to shorten it 25 minutes and take out all of the music recommendations. Other than that they really liked the script.
So, this could very well become a movie sometime in 2009.
